I HAVE A FIVE-YEAR-OLD! I can hardly believe it. I knew I was getting older, but this is kind of a shock to me. I know, all you experienced moms out there are laughing at me right now, but I can't believe it has come to this. I can't believe I have lasted this long with children. At the same time, I am very excited for the next step--School. I sign Anna up for school this month and she will start in the fall. So many people have already gone through this, it seems silly to make a big deal out of it. But this is a first for us. Anna is delighted to think that she will be going to "real" school soon. I think it will be a wake up call for both Anna and me, but it is exciting, regardless.

Considering my tendency to get depressed every time Violet outgrows an item of clothing or has another month's anniversary (four in total), the idea of kindergarten is devastating. Anna is getting so big! Love you! Davian
